Good morning Dear all,

I, on behalf of SEMRC, warmly welcome all the esteemed faculty members and Dear Masters students of Hospital Management from Deccan School of Management to the One-Day Workshop on “Writing Research Report” being organized on 24th January, 2026. Research is a scientific process, underlined with evidence-based practice and informed decision-making in management. The previous 3-Day Workshop on “Research Methodology with Hands-on Experience in SPSS”, conducted on 6th,
7th and 8th January, 2026 dealt with the scientific process of conducting research. In continuation to it, today’s workshop titled “One-Day Workshop on “Writing Research Report”” is organized for all the MHM students to learn, how to write a research report, which is a scientific process and a systematic method of documentation of the research findings, methods and conclusions of a research study. It serves to communicate new knowledge, support decisions and preserve research for future reference.

Therefore, I encourage all participants to actively engage in the session, clarify queries, seek answers and gain the most from it. I am confident that the insights gained from this workshop will significantly support you in your final-year dissertation and future academic pursuits.

With these words, I once again extend my sincere thanks to all the faculty members and students for being part of this program. I now take this opportunity to respectfully invite our esteemed resource person, Dr. D. K. Lal Das, to grace the dais and commence the session.
