I, on behalf of SEMRC, warmly welcome back all the esteemed faculty members and Dear Masters students of Hospital Management from Deccan School of Management to the One-Day Workshop on “Writing Research Paper” being organized on 4th February, 2026. A research paper is a detailed, structured academic document that presents an in-depth analysis, evaluation, or interpretation of a specific research topic based on comprehensive, independent research. It is based
on empirical evidence and scholarly research. Its aim is for contribution to the existing research and to share the information a wide network through research / academic journals.

I encourage you to be proactively participating and embrace a collaborative spirit throughout this workshop, as your attention and active involvement are essential to making this a productive and enriching experience for everyone.

I now request invite Dr. D. K. Lal Das Sir, our esteemed resource person, to grace the dais and

Good afternoon, respected resource person, esteemed faculty members, and my dear students.

It gives me immense pleasure to stand before you at the conclusion of this enriching One-Day Workshop on “Writing Research Paper”. Over these past days, we dived deep into the structure and concept of writing a successful proposal, report and paper. With regard to today’s workshop on “Writing Research Paper”, we learnt that, behind every great paper is a „golden thread‟ that links our research question directly to our findings.

I would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to the resource person, Dr. D. K. Lal Das, for his expert guidance, patience and sharing his profound wisdom in writing these research documents. Your practical insights and valuable suggestions have proved to be a guiding light and truly enriched our learning experience, which would help us at large through our research/academic journey.

I would also like to commend and express my sincere and deep gratitude to the organizing Team:
Dr. S Adeeb Mujtaba Ali, Dr. Umair Wahedi, Ms. Subhana Tasneem and myself: Ms. Roqayya Aimun, for a well-planned, smooth and successful workshop. Your careful planning ensured everything ran flawlessly from start to finish.

As we leave here, let the world browse our findings, insights and unconventional thinking. Let this be the start of our journey to contribute new, meaningful knowledge to our respective fields. Let us carry forward the spirit of inquiry, the rigor of discipline and the courage to challenge the status quo.
