22nd August 2026 – 19th September 2026
Welcome Note:
Good Morning Dear All,
I, on behalf of SEMRC, warmly welcome M.Pharm Students of Deccan School of Pharmacy to the “Five-Week Workshop on Presenting Quality Research as Dissertation of M.Pharm Students”. Research is an integral component of postgraduate education. A good dissertation is not merely a compilation of experimental results; it reflects the researcher’s ability to identify a meaningful problem, critically review existing evidence, adopt an appropriate methodology, analyse the findings, and communicate the outcomes in a scientifically sound manner.
The workshop will cover important areas such as literature review, research methodology, identification of research gaps, data analysis, scientific writing, statistical interpretation, referencing, preparation of research presentations, and dissertation defense.
I hope that this programme will provide the students with valuable knowledge and practical skills that they can directly incorporate into their ongoing research work.
I encourage all the students to participate actively, interact with the resource person, ask questions, and make the best possible use of this academic opportunity.
I wish this five-week workshop a meaningful, productive, and successful academic journey.
I now request Dr. D.K. Lal Das sir, our esteemed resource person, to commence today’s session.
Thank you and I wish you all a very engaging and productive workshop.
Vote of Thanks:
Good Afternoon, respected resource person, esteemed faculty members, and dear students.
I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to all involved in making the “Five-Week Workshop on Presenting Quality Research as Dissertation of M.Pharm Students” a success.
I extend my heartfelt appreciation to the Resource person- Dr. D. K. Lal Das, who generously shared his knowledge, experience, and valuable insights with the students. The guidance on research methodology, scientific writing, data analysis, dissertation preparation, and research presentation has provided the students with important academic and practical skills.
A special word of appreciation goes to the M.Pharm students from Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Analysis. Their enthusiastic participation, interaction, questions, and willingness to learn have truly contributed to the success of this programme.
The workshop has reminded us that quality research is not only about generating results, but also about presenting those results with scientific clarity, academic integrity, and meaningful interpretation. I hope the knowledge and skills gained during these five weeks will help our students develop stronger dissertations and become more confident researchers and scientific communicators.
We also thank all participants for their active engagement and enthusiasm, which contributed significantly to the workshop’s dynamic and productive atmosphere.
I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to the organizing team-Dr. S Adeeb Mujtaba Ali, Dr. Umair Wahedi, and myself, Dr. Subhana Tasneem-for meticulous planning and seamless execution. Your dedication ensured a well-structured and smoothly conducted event from beginning to end. Once again, thank you to everyone for making this workshop meaningful and successful.
